Joanne's most interesting sale came about in 2010, as an Accredited Buyers Representative, she facilitated the purchase of the infamous "Amityville Horror House" for her clients. She helped them navigate an unusual purchase with international attention.
She has been educated by national trainers & coaches such as Jeff Lobb, Johnny Loewy, Darryl Davis, Steve Harney and much more. While Joanne's personal awards are too extensive to list individually, she has held Top Producer status and has been in the top 100 Agents within the entire Exit Franchise, she is consistently in the Top 5% of agents.
In 2010 Joanne become an agent trainer herself, as the Director of Agent Development in Exit Realty Premier; she helps educate other agents to reach the full potential. Joanne's expertise in Social Media and Marketing has brought her to national attention, and she was asked to speak at the 2013 Mid-Year Conference of the Women's Council of REALTORS in Washington, DC. Joanne also is the interviewer of Top Agents around the country for the monthly "Power Agent Interview" series for Darryl Davis Seminars. With her network of agents throughout the nation, Joanne has a unique perspective of the industry and is able to give her clients the benefit of knowing trends and market changes before they happen.
Joanne is a member in good standing of the Long Island Board of Realtors, Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and National Association of Realtors. She is committed to the professionalism of the industry and volunteers her time as a committee member multiple committees of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR). She has also held leadership positions within the Women's Council of REALTORS, a national network of men and women, dedicated to empowering women to exercise their potential as entrepreneurs and industry leaders. Joanne held the position of President of the Long Island Chapter of the WCR for 2014 and was Member of the Year for 2013. Presently Joanne sits on many committees, Boards and is a Director for the New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR).
Joanne feels that being a REALTOR is about more than joining professional associations. She believes REALTORS should be involved in the communities where they work as well. Joanne has served as Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Amityville as well as being a present member and is also a member of Bayvillage Civic Association and Amityville Historical Society; she also volunteers her expertise to help with the Marketing/Social Media for many other organizations and local businesses in her hometown of Amityville.
